A mini convention and this month's paper pumpkin

I have a random assortment today for you. First of all, right now Stampin Up's yearly convention is going on and I was unable to attend. It is an amazing event for demonstrators. A few of us met last night at Ruth's house and had a little mini convention since we couldn't go. Check out Ruth's blog. She came up with these awesome projects. We made a magnetic board and a card holder with a couple great cards. It was so fun.

Here is this month's Paper Pumpkin project. I wanted to promote Paper Pumpkin a minute because there is a special going. From now through August 31, 2013, new Paper Pumpkin subscribers can use the promo code PUMPKINDEAL to join Paper Pumpkin for only $10 a month for the first two months! You can sign up through this link https://mypaperpumpkin.com/en/?demoid=2100193
Here is this month's project. It's some cute banners. I made mine reversible. Don't you love the cute mini clothespins?

July Blog Hop

This month's blog hop theme is the new "In Colors." They are my favorite colors from Stampin Up! yet. Here is a line up of the colors from the online store.

2013-2015 In Color
The colors I used on my card are Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana. I also used the perfect blend stamp set, which is super cute! Enjoy and happy hopping!

Up next is the talented Michelle!

A Season For Weddings

The summer months are always filled with wedding activities. Here are a couple of cards I made that have to do with weddings.

The first one is an invitation to a bridal shower. It's sweet and simple and I think it has this overall creamy feeling to it.

The next card is an actual wedding invitation and a bit more complicated. It has a pocket sort of design and the actual invitation slides inside. I embossed 300 of these puppies! With glitter mind you! It was well worth it though because it was for my uncle's wedding. I love how they turned out.
